Open daily, Thursdays until 9 PM
Always-free admission. Kid Quest, free hands-on art for families, is the first Saturday of the month, October through April.

SCHEELS Skating Rink at Broadway Square
Late Nov–March · Skate Shack Mon–Fri 4–8 p.m., Sat–Sun noon–8 p.m.
Downtown's outdoor rink at 201 Broadway N. The Skate Shack rents adult skates (and a limited supply of junior and youth sizes) for $5 with a photo ID or your shoes as a deposit, and sells grab-and-go snacks. Closed Dec. 24–25 and at -10° or -30° wind chill.

On select nights the roller rink turns down the lights and turns up the music for adults only, all skill levels. Regular sessions are $8 for two hours plus $5 skate rental (before tax).

Brewhalla market (the food at Drekker)
Open daily 10 a.m.–8 p.m. · some vendors until 9 p.m. Fri–Sat
The market attached to Drekker: locally owned vendors from oysters to ice cream, pizza to noodles, plus coffee from 6 a.m. Drekker's bars stay open until 10 p.m. Sun–Thu and midnight Fri–Sat.

Holiday Lights at the Fairgrounds
Nov 28–Dec 31, nightly 5–10 p.m. · closed Dec 25
Themed displays, animated lights and drive-through tunnels along about 1.5 miles at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds, 1805 Main Ave W. About 25–30 minutes at the posted 5 mph. Limos and buses $60. Dates are from the organizer's FAQ; check before you go.

The Lights Ice Rink
December to mid-March
Free open skating on an NHL-size outdoor rink at Essentia Health Plaza, 300 32nd Ave W. Rentals are $5 in the Community Room, and there are skate aids for little kids. Times change for rentals, weather and events.

What's open late in Fargo?
Drekker's bars at Brewhalla stay open until 10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and midnight Friday–Saturday. The Plains Art Museum is open until 9 on Thursdays, and the Hjemkomst Center is free Tuesday evenings 5–8. The late-night happy hours on this page come from each bar's own site.
Where can you skate at night in Fargo?
The Broadway Square rink's Skate Shack is open until 8 p.m. every day in season (late November to March), and Skate City runs adult night skates on select evenings.
Are the Holiday Lights at the Fairgrounds open at night?
Yes: 5–10 p.m. nightly from Nov. 28 through Dec. 31 (closed Dec. 25), $25 per car.
